This means that the consumer chooses from a menu of service packages for a set fee, and that the agent becomes a consumer advocate in the role of consultant.

A SELLER wanting to sell property on his own could be represented on MLS, and have the security of hiring a professional to negotiate offers and perform some of the more demanding tasks of marketing a property - in order to be supported and protected during this process. The end cost saves the consumer many thousands of dollars if he is willing participate by doing tasks themselves. The benefit is the guidance and expertise he receives while only paying for the time it takes the professional to do the task.

A BUYER, on the other hand, can be guided and counselled during the buying process with assistance in negotiating an offer with the Consultant as their consumer advocate. The Consultant only has the interests of the consumer in mind when he consults, since he is not receiving a commission. The buyer receives thousands of dollars at the closing that would have gone to the consultant if the consultant were performing as an agent in the traditional real estate role.

The Consumer may also turn to a real estate consultant for answers to questions on the wisdom of buying and renovating, renovating or selling, what kind of renovation would be worth the investment, and other property matters that would be enhanced by professional input and analysis. The consultant would be paid for consultation time.

Our Real Estate Consultant will respond to your interest in this unique service by meeting with the consumer to assess and discuss his/her particular situation via a needs interview. There are no hidden costs!
